Taught by midwives for midwifery clients, this course will cover labor preparation, stages of labor, comfort measures in labor, what to expect in case of the unexpected, birth plans, and care for the newborn and postpartum mothers, including a discussion on breastfeeding and initial establishment of the breastfeeding relationship.
The course will be required for all of Bella Births first time mothers or mothers planning their first natural, out of hospital birth. Enrollment is open for all Bella Birth clients. The class is a two day weekend class offered once every three months. The class costs 110.00 and includes a childbirth education book.
