Postpartum

Most moms who birth at the center feel ready to leave within 4-5 hours of birth.
BUT, there is never any rush for you and baby to leave after birth. You are free to relax in an herbal bath, shower, rest, and eat.
Breastfeeding
We work with moms to ensure a good latch within the first "golden hour" after birth.
We have certified lactation consultants available.
The entire Bella Births staff has nursed their babies.

Collaborating Physician

We have a long-standing relationship with a board-certified OBGYN who acts as our collaborating physician.
If transport becomes necessary, we guarantee exceptional quality transfer of care whether in labor or prior to labor.
We will be at your bedside and participate in your care with whatever your birth requires.
